About Me

My name is Evie Clercx. I am a Marketing professional who dabbles in graphic design. I currently work in the Aggregate Processing industry, but I have marketing and operational experience in the retail and restaurant industries. I also provide consultation services to existing and startup companies. I love working with entrepreneurs, as their drive and passion for their new businesses are truly inspirational.
I am also a better than average marathon runner, and am training for my first triathlon this year. Fitness and health are top priorities for me, but don’t let that fool you into thinking I am a strict health-a-tarian. I’m the first one to admit I enjoy a nice glass of wine or gourmet meal.
I’m always up for networking or consultation, so feel free to email me at evie.clercx@gmail.com if you are looking for some freelance marketing or startup help.

I leave water and energy bars on … Continue reading

I get to taste wine, I get to pair food with wine, I get to put together wine events, and sometimes I even get to meet winemakers. Last week I had the pleasure of hosting Jeff Mathy from Vellum Winecraft in Napa Valley for a winemaker’s dinner. Vellum prides themselves on making wine steeped in the French tradition. Their Cabernet Sauvignon wines are high acid and lower alcohol; very different stylistically than the high alcohol fruit bomb cabs we are used to seeing from Napa. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Fruit-forward Napa Valley Cabs, but Vellum was a refreshing change for … Continue reading
